Replaced front bumper, windshield, headlight, muffler, engine parts-radiator & alternator- and an alignment. I also needed a paint job on my beautiful pearl blue Camry.

The crew at Sterling Auto Service was very professional, kind, courteous and knowledgeable. They were attentive to me and my car's needs. The paint job was excellent! My car looked like new. After they were finished with my car, there were a few things that were still not right, but they were more than happy to make sure my car was in proper working order and that all items were fixed to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone! I wish they were closer so they could be my car's mechanic any time I needed! "Thank you" to all who took care of me and my car at Sterling!

9/16/11 my new Hyundai had substantial front end damage when I hit a large pickup truck. I did no damage to the truck, thankfully, but over $7000 damage to mine.

Happy experience at Sterling Auto Body

While having an auto mishap which caused over $7,000 damage to my nearly new Hyundai was not a happy moment, the experience I had with Sterling Auto Service and Body, located at 2729 Garfield Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20910, Phone: 301-608-1433, Fax: 301-608-1435, was certainly a factor in making the incident seem less traumatic.

From the moment I entered the office, where Antonio Giron and his associate, Josue Cruz, received me, they did everything to make the process work. The estimate was prompt and quickely okayed by the Chubb insurance adjusters which allowed me to have the car back, considering the extensive need for parts and labor, in the shortest possible time.

And the work was superb. The car really looks exactly like it did when my wife and I drove it out of the dealership a short time ago.

Anyone who has the bad experience of an auto accident will be lucky to have this shop do the work.

Repainting of our 1997 Subaru Outback

The people at Sterling truly understand the meaning of 'customer service' starting with answering the telephone to and through completion of the repairs, in this case repaint my car. They kept me informed by providing detailed information and they did everything and I mean everything they listed on the 5 page estimate and we (the wife and I) are very happy with the results. We had a choice to take our car to any repaint shop given that it was not an insurance claim and we choose Sterling because of our positive past experience with them. Needless to say we will be using them again but the best way to say thank you Sterling is to let you know we will be telling or friends and family.

Replace side rearview mirror

My insurance suggested I use Sterling Auto Service and Body Shop. The service was excellent and staff very informative. I usually go to a dealership to get my car tuned up and fixed because I don't know any mechanics. But now that I know this company is a car repair shop as well I will bring my car there.

In addition to replacing my mirror they washed my car and vacuumed it for free!
I look forward to using them in the future and recommend the company.

Estimate and repairs for front driver's side damageMember Comments:

Company conducted initial estimate. They aren't a preferred provider for our insurance company so we had to fax the form to the insurance, but they took care of everything else. Our 2006 Prius had been hit on the front driver's side - we really appreciated how thorough Sterling Autobody was at checking on the Hybrid Synergy drive component which was very near the site of impact (thankfully it was intact and required no repairs but we felt much better that they had looked so closely). The car was with them for about three days and came back looking like new. They were very easy to work with. The only slightly negative thing was that we had one tire that had been going flat several times and asked them to take a look at that while it was there - they said they had removed the tire and checked it and found nothing. It went flat again two days afterwards and when we took it to a tire shop they pulled it off and found a very obvious screw stuck in the tire that was causing the slow leak so I think Sterling missed it, but the tire was just an add-on and not really what we went to them for in the first place. Their autobody work is fantastic.

Major repairs

This was the third time (2010 & 2011) I entrusted my BMW to Sterling for major repair. Each visit exceeded my expectations with respect to both the quality of work and exceptional customer service. Antonio and his staff were always available to respond to my calls and questions with patience and expertise. Updates were provided frequently, and I was very impressed with the time Antonio took to describe and educate on all work in progress. As a new resident in the area, customer service is as important as quality of the repair. Antonio goes above and beyond to coordinate service with insurance carriers, rental car agencies, and any other professionals integral in service. Sterling Autobody truly offers a top notch, comprehensive experience that I reccommend wholeheartedly!!
